Documentation
You ask questions in plain language, and Totsum answers each one with a preview. The preview contains a plain-language answer, a chart, a preview of the rows behind it, and the query that led to them. Unless the query is too complex, Totsum also translates it into a Query Flow, which gives a step-by-step account in plain language of what was read, filtered, grouped and calculated.
Each preview is yours to triage. You shortlist what looks worth pursuing, and you rule out what does not. What you shortlist becomes a follow-up report for your reviewer, who records Valid, Invalid or Inconclusive against each result.
The reviewer is the person you choose to check the numbers before anyone relies on them: a colleague, your accountant, an analyst, or you, if that is your competence. The reviewer is not an AI, and not someone Totsum supplies.
Where to start
Section titled “Where to start”- Getting started takes you through installing the app, downloading the model and asking your first question.
- Hardware compatibility explains what ”12 GB VRAM or 18 GB unified memory” means and how to check your machine. Read this before downloading.
- Installing on a machine with no internet shows how to copy the model across instead of downloading it.
- Licensing covers activating a key, moving machines and the trial limits.
- The FAQ answers questions about accuracy expectations, supported formats, privacy and troubleshooting.
- Known limits is an honest list of what v1 does not do.
- Report a bug describes the support channel and what to include.
Support model
Section titled “Support model”Totsum is self-service software. This documentation and the bug-report channel are the support channels. We read the reports, and we don’t promise a reply. When a report describes a bug worth fixing, the fix appears in a later version.
Updates are a firm commitment, not a courtesy. We provide security and conformity updates for your major version, free of charge, during its support period. The period and its end date are published before sales open, and the end date is shown before you buy.
There is no automatic update check. New installers and security advisories are published at /security, and we e-mail license holders about them. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
